A Post-doctoral position is available at the Biosystems and Process Engineering Laboratory (LISBP) located on the grounds of the INSA-Toulouse, France. The laboratory depends of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS, UMR INSA-CNRS 5504) and the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA, UMR INSA-INRA 792).

Details

The research project is funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and will aim to develop enzymatic tools to defeat roadblocks in enteric vaccine design within a collaboration with the Pasteur Institute, Paris. The candidate will be in charge of the construction and screening of enzyme libraries, designed by computational approach for the synthesis of antigenic oligosaccharides. We are seeking a highly motivated scientist who has research background and expertise in enzymology, protein purification and molecular biology.

The perspective researcher will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment with access to High-Throughput Screening equipments (colony picker, liquid handling stations, TECAN automates etc…).

Candidate profile

Applicants should have completed a PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field. Experience with enzyme engineering and screening as well as computational biology notions would be a plus.

Applicants should enjoy teamwork and have very good communication skills. Good English skills are required and notions of French would be a plus.
